One day a young man was told by the master to take the pail, fill it with water in the stream, and pour the water in the trough. The young man did so and noticed the pail was full of holes and by the time he reached the rough, there were only a few drops of water to pour into the trough. He guessed it would take him a very long time to fill the trough so he rushed and hurried so less water would leak out of the pail so he could fill the trough. By the end of a couple of weeks he was extremely discouraged because much of the water that reached the trough was evaporating as fast as he could pour it in. He loudly complained to the master "Master, why did you want me to fill the trough with this leaky pail. I can't fill the tough with such a leaky pail you gave me to use" and the master replied "Son, turn around" and the young man did so and saw such lush and beautiful plants along the path "I never told you to fill the trough, I wanted you to water my garden" said the master.WOW.
Sometimes we guess of what Yahweh's purpose is in our life and why He has us do such things we miss His real intention because we are so focused on a goal He never gave us. Sometimes Yahweh has us go somewhere or move somewhere not so we could get a great job or be rich and famous but because He wants us to be the light in someone's life and show them Yeshua's love for them. If only we would open our eyes and see the journey instead of being so focused on a goal we ASSUME is Yahweh's plan, we would be able to enjoy the journey more and see the garden growing instead of thinking we needed to hurry up and fill the trough. Watch daily what Yahweh is doing in your life instead making assumptions about what He is doing.
Isaiah 55
6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
