Once again, this shows the "Torah code" is fake. This "code" is from the book "Sherlock Holmes" and has NOTHING to do with Torah or any other part of the bible. It is not divine, and not inspired. All it shows is that with a large enough text in a finite number of possible words you can find what you want to find.
Another BOGUS "code" from the book 'Sherlock Holmes' |
In English, there are 26 letters including 5-6 vowels (sometimes Y is a vowel) In English, the average vocabulary is 20,000 words.
In Hebrew, the alphabet contains 22 letters and NO vowels. In the Hebrew language, there is an estimated 45,000 words TOTAL in the language https://www.quora.com/How-many-words-are-in-the-modern-Hebrew-language 10,000 words (and their different forms) is the average Hebrew vocabulary. http://www.teachmehebrew.com/hebrew-frequency-list.html
The bible contains less than 15,000 unique words out of less than 800,000 total words (Old and new testaments and not including the apocrypha) which means each word is an AVERAGE of 53 times. The entire Old Testament contains less than 11,000 unique words out of less than 610,000 total words for an average of 55 times per word. http://www.artbible.info/concordance/
An average non-bible book (like Sherlock Holmes) contains 8,000 unique words depending on size and audience, of course. http://www.mine-control.com/zack/guttenberg/
Of course you will find repeating letters at a regular frequency and, using Hebrew, a false prophet can add vowels to make a group of consonants say whatever they - or their demons - want it to say. There are not enough words in common usage or letters in English to show that any ELS code is divine. Removing the vowels and drastically reducing the number of possible words plus reducing the number of letters in the alphabet in Hebrew it would be a miracle if words were NOT found by ELS! In Sherlock Holmes, I found Yeshua, Jesus, Lamb all linked together - all it does is show that with a limitation of words and a large enough text you can find virtually anything you want to find.
Deuteronomy 18
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Divination:
- noun the practice of attempting to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge by occult or supernatural means.
2 Peter 1
19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. NO HIDDEN MESSAGES!
