Noah, The Flood, The Rapture, and The Tribulation

There is not a lot of information regarding the details of Noah's flood in the bible so I'm posting what I saw in scripture and some possibilities.  Of course the details not being given, we can only surmise what happened so  please do not quote me as saying this is how it was because there is no way to know according to what Yahweh has revealed to us in scripture.  That said, there are extra biblical details that seems to indicate what I'm about to share is possible although they are not scripture.  Some of these extra biblical details may have come from the writings or stories of Noah's family although some of these tales could have also originated from demonic teachings.

Messiah Yeshua tells us that the end times would be like the days of Noah and Lot.  I have mentioned this in regards to globalism and how the both Noah and Lot were alive during the tower of babel and how there was violence before the flood and widespread sodomy after the flood.  This post will examine the time of Noah and how there can be different meanings of the flood in relation to Messiah Yeshua's soon return  than commonly taught.

The bible states that Noah, his family, and the animals entered the ark and SEVEN DAYS LATER the earth was flooded when the fountains of the great deep broke up and the windows of heaven were opened.

Genesis 7
1  And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
2  Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
3  Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
4  For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
5  And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.
6  And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7  And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
8  Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
9  There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
10  And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
11  In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
12  And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
13  In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
14  They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
15  And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
16  And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
17  And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
18  And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
19  And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
20  Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
21  And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
22  All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
23  And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
24  And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

Yahweh shut the door and obviously no man could open what Yahweh shut.  This brings to mind other scripture passages that speaks of Messiah Yeshua's return.

Luke 13:25  When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

Interestingly some of the extra-biblical texts I mentioned earlier states that during the time Noah entered the ark, the seven days before the flood came there was lightning, thunder, bright lights, and chaos.  Some of these texts state people were trying to get into the ark - people who did not want Yahweh in their lives or to obey Him but wanted the safety and protection (or to find out what was happening from Noah) when difficulties arrived.  There is scripture that could support this theory:

Matthew 24
37  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Notice this verse does NOT say they were marrying, giving in marriage, eating, drinking during the week Noah was on the ark before the rains / flood - it states they were doing these things UNTIL the day Noah entered the ark.  It seems they knew something was happening but not what until the end of the week when the floods happened.  It is possible they continued to do these things throughout that final week although this is not stated and it is worded so that they were only doing those things until the day Noah entered the ark.

I surmise that it is very possible the seven days Noah was in the ark after Yahweh shut the door is the tribulation and the flood came was the judgment at the end of the tribulation.

Before the flood, Noah preached for 120 years the need to repent.  Nobody outside of his family truly repented.  Some of his relatives were followers of Yahweh although all of them except for his sons, their wives, and his wife died before the flood - including Methusalah who died the same year as the flood.  Today, the door is open before the tribulation so that anyone who accepts Yeshua as Messiah will be saved.

I just thought this is interesting and offers a different interpretation of what most teach.  Maybe this is the correct interpretation, maybe not --- just something to think on and ask Yahweh for more revelation of His word.  I like studies such as this - more than dealing with the apostle Paul rejectors and the apostle Paul worshipers (hyper-dispensationalists) that I have been writing about.

Regardless of the correct interpretation, Messiah Yeshua is returning soon for His true followers.  I will be surprised (and disappointed) if the rapture doesn't happen this spring - although even if it doesn't, Yahweh may call us home individually at any time and the next breath may be your last.  Repent - which means turn away from you sin (violation of Yahweh's instructions - "the law") and accept Yeshua as Savior and follow Him as the Lord of your life - He is the only way to Father Yahweh.

1 John 3:4  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Matthew 7
21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
G458

Strong's number G458 iniquity (transliterated as anomia)   :
anomia
1) the condition of without law
     a) because ignorant of it
     b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

John14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John14:23  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

John15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

1 John 2
3  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 5
2  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Revelation 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Revelation 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
