False grace and the downfall of America (and the rest of the world)

Within "christianity", there are numerous interpretations of the biblical definition of 'grace'.  The views are so widespread from those that believe there is no grace outside of their works to those who believe in "hyper-grace" where there is so much grace because of Yeshua's death and resurrection that they do not even need to repent of their sins because "they are already covered" explaining "Jesus died for all sins past, present, future so there is no need to repent of the sins He already forgave".

Most of so-called "christianity" pick and choose what parts of the bible they believe.  Some "christians" only believe the New Testament is for "christians" and others - the "Paul worshipers" (hyper dispensationalists) believe the only scripture they need to obey is the apostle Paul's writings from Romans through Philemon.  Of course, the Paul worshipers twist Paul's words to make it say what they want it to say as Peter said they would do.

2 Peter 3
15  And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16  As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17  Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked
G113, fall from your own stedfastness.

Strongs G113 Athesmos, translated as wicked, means lawless.  Lawless means breaking Yahweh's instructions (AKA Torah or "The Law")

Most "christians" have no clue what the bible says because they never read it - or pick and choose what they read - for themselves.  Instead, most "christians" believe and accept as fact what their "pastors" and youtube "gurus" tells them what the bible says - and oftentimes, scripture is twisted to prove that "pastor" or guru's false doctrines such as Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS).    I grew up attending a baptist church and know all too well about the OSAS doctrine of demons and how it has shipwrecked the faith of millions of people.

The bible needs to be taken in its entirety to understand what Yahweh expects of His people, who His people are, what Messiah Yeshua's earthly mission was, and how all of it fits together.  Nothing in scripture - from Genesis through Revelation - contradicts other parts of scripture.  If there was a contradiction, it would mean the bible is not infallible and calls into question the infallibility of the rest of scripture.  Where there seems to be a contradiction, then there is a misinterpretation and we understand this from Luke's writing in Acts where the Bereans examined what the apostle Paul taught them and compared his teachings with the Old testament (the ONLY scripture that had been written at the time) and made sure there was no contradiction before they accepted Paul's teachings about Messiah Yeshua.

Acts 17
10  And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11  These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
12  Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

Throughout the Old Testament, Yahweh sets His instructions for His people.  This started after Adam and Eve sinned and Yahweh killed animal(s) to cover their sin.  Cain and Abel knew about sacrifice where Abel brought an animal sacrifice and the fat (the best parts) to sacrifice to Yahweh - a blood sacrifice to cover his sin.  Cain offered vegetables and we can surmise a couple differerent reasons why it was not acceptable both due to disobedience:

1)  Cain's sacrifice was not accepted because he did not offer the best vegetables and only offered the lowest quality.  This happened later in the old testament where Ancient israel offered blind and lame lambs instead of the best.
or
2)  Cain's sacrifice was of his own work and he did not also bring a blood sacrifice to cover his sins.  While vegetables and grain was an accepted sacrifice to Yahweh when His laws were given to Moses, the grain sacrifice was an offering and did not cover sin and was to be offered along with the blood sacrifce which covered the sin of the offerer.

Genesis 4
3  And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4  And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5  But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6  And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7  If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Many people teach the law was "for the Jews" and "we are under the new covenant so we do not need to stop sinning", etc.  We know what sin is:  it is defined as breaking Yahweh's instructions (IE: "The Law" / Torah) so those that teach we do not need to obey Yahweh's instructions (Torah) are stating we do not need to stop sinning.

1 John 3:4  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

I have shown in previous posts that "the law" and the need for a blood sacrifice to cover sin was required - from the time that Yahweh covered Adam and Eve with skins of animal(s), Cain and Abel, Noah, Job, Abraham, etc. and even Moses BEFORE he was given they knew the need of a blood sacrifice to cover sin.

Exodus 5:3  And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.

When the law was re-given to Moses at Mt. Sinai, Yahweh clearly stated the gentiles who left Egypt and that were grafted into Yahweh  with Israel were to obey the very same laws as the native born.  Notice that even the animals were to be given the Sabbath off from working - so to argue "it is for the Jews" is proven to be a lie even if those who make that claim come up with a reasoning why it does not apply to them.

Exodus 20:10  But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

To make it clear that there is one law for both Jew and gentile:

Numbers 15
15  One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.
16  One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

The apostle Paul shows this with his discussion about the Olive Tree.  The native branches who grew up knowing the law who accept Yeshua as their Messiah are  partaking of The Root (Yeshua) and the gentiles who did not grow up knowing the law are grafted in and learn the law of Yahweh and abide in the goodness of The Root (Yeshua) when they accept Yeshua as their Messiah.  Both are nourished and bare fruit - olives - and they produce Good Fruit which is of the Holy Spirit - Olive Oil

Romans 11
16  For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17  And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18  Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19  Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
20  Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21  For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22  Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23  And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
24  For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
25  For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Notice the apostle Paul stated the gentiles come into the olive tree and become a part of the same tree as the native branches.

When Messiah Yeshua came and led a Torah observant life (IE: was sin free) He became our forever sacrifice for sin so our sins are atoned for when we do violate Yahweh's instructions - but that does not give us the license to continue to freely sin.

Jude 1
4  For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5  I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

Yeshua bodily resurrected the third day which showed He never sinned - violated Torah - and never spoke against Yahweh or Yahweh's instructions (Torah) otherwise He would never have been accepted as that final sin sacrifice fulfilling the law for sin sacrifice.

Most "christians" bad mouth "the law" (Torah) like it is a curse on them to obey what Yahweh says.  In a previous post, I discussed the difference between obeying the Torah as Yahweh gave it and the 'bondage of the law' that the rabbis have placed on it (rabbinic Judaism)  Now I will be showing you why "christians" rejecting Yahweh's instructions and following a false "christianity" (which will lead them to hell unless they repent) is why the United States (and other countries) will be judged by Yahweh.  While these so-called "christians" reject Yahweh's Torah, they have no problem with obeying the laws of their country .  Those "christians" in the United States defend the Constitution yet claim Yahweh's instructions are not for them.  These so-called "christians" want the Ten Commandments displayed and are horrified when they are removed even though they reject the commandment to observe Yahweh's Sabbath day (and it is NOT sunday)

Yahweh is allowing the laws of countries that protect morality and decency to be changed and allowing the reprobate minds because the "christians" reject what He says so He is allowing the countries to make laws that violate His rules.

"christians" do not want homosexual marriages, drug abuse, abortions, etc. to be legal yet Yahweh had rules about these that "christians" claim "is not for them" because "we are under graaace not the laaaaw".  If "christians" do not want to obey what Yahweh says, He will let those laws be changed by secular government.

Here are Yahweh's instructions about marriage and sexuality that "christians" claim they do not have to obey because "christians are under graaace not the laaaaw.  Many of these "christians" are upset the secular governments are changing these laws yet at the same time they claim they do not have to obey the Torah which is where these laws originated from!
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with his mother. (Leviticus 18:7)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with his father's wife. (Leviticus 18:8)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with his sister. (Leviticus 18:9)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with his half-sister. (Leviticus 18:11)
  •     A man must not have sexual have relations with his son's daughter. (Leviticus 18:10)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with his daughter's daughter. (Leviticus 18:10)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with his daughter. (Leviticus 18:10)
  •     A man must not marry a woman and her daughter. (Leviticus 18:17)
  •     A man must not marry a woman and her son's daughter. (Leviticus 18:17)
  •     A man must not marry a woman and her daughter's daughter. (Leviticus 18:17)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with his father's sister. (Leviticus 18:12)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with his mother's sister. (Leviticus 18:13)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with his father's brother's wife. (Leviticus 18:14)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with his daughter-in-law. (Leviticus 18:15)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with his brother's wife. (Leviticus 18:16)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with one wife in the dwelling of another. (Leviticus 18:18)
  •     A man must not approach a menstruous woman for sexual relations or in any way to become ritually unclean by her. (Leviticus 18:19)
  •     Do not commit adultery. (Leviticus 18:20)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with an animal. (Leviticus 18:23)
  •     A woman must not have sexual relations with an animal. (Leviticus 18:23)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with another man. (Leviticus 18:22)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with a woman betrothed to another man. (Leviticus 19:20)
  •     A man must not lust after any woman forbidden to him. (Leviticus 18:16)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with a woman until he has lawfully acquired her in marriage. (Exodus 22:16-17)
  •     Do not allow your son or daughter to marry a godworshiper (a worshiper of false gods) who refuses to repent. (Deuteronomy 7:3, 23:2)
  •     Do not allow your daughter to play the harlot, allowing her to commit fornication. (Leviticus 19:29)
  •     A man must not have sexual relations with a woman who returns to him after having sexual relations with another man. (Deuteronomy 24:4)
  •     A childless widow must not marry anybody outside of her husband's family. (Deuteronomy 25:5)
  •     A man must not divorce a woman he married after having raped her. (Deuteronomy 22:29)
  •     A man must not divorce a woman he married after having slandered her. (Deuteronomy 22:19)
  •     A man must not allow himself to be castrated. (Deuteronomy 23:1)
  •     A man must not divorce a woman, unless she committed premarital fornication. (Deuteronomy 24:1)
The reason why Yahweh has allowed immorality is because "christians" claim they do not have to obey Yahweh's instructions so He is giving them what they want - an immoral violent society.  If they refuse to obey Yahweh's instructions claiming "we don't have to" He will let the wicked change the secular laws from His to theirs.

Many "christians" are disturbed by the legal system creating immoral laws (Yahweh's laws THEY claim they do not have to obey) yet it is what they want - they REFUSE to obey Yahweh's instructions so He will allow the secular government to change secular laws based on Torah to what the wicked want.  Why do these "christians" object since they believe they do not have to obey Yahweh's laws?  Why do they want them in the government if they refuse to obey them when Yahweh says to obey them???  Here is some of Yahweh's laws that "christians" refuse to obey yet they are upset when the very same secular laws are being changed by the secular government.
  • A judge must not pervert justice by rendering his own opinion. He must judge according to Yahweh's Laws. (Leviticus 19:15)
  • A judge must not accept bribes. (Exodus 23:8)
  • A judge must not show partiality to the rich. (Leviticus 19:15)
  • A judge must not be afraid to give Righteous Judgment. (Deuteronomy 1:17)
  • A judge must not show partiality to the poor. (Leviticus 19:15)
  • A judge must not deny justice to the poor in his lawsuit. (Exodus 23:6)
  • A judge must not show pity to the guilty. (Deuteronomy 19:11-13, 21)
  • A judge must not pervert the justice due to the stranger or the fatherless. (Deuteronomy 24:17)
  • Do not spread a false report. (Exodus 23:1)
  • Do not fail to report sin or testify in an investigation. (Leviticus 5:1)
  • Do not follow the crowd in doing evil. (Exodus 23:2)
  • Do not appoint as judge one who is ignorant of Yahweh's Laws. (Deuteronomy 1:13)
  • Do not give false testimony in a lawsuit or investigation. (Exodus 20:16)
  • The judges must not accept false testimony in a case. (Deuteronomy 19:16-17)
  • Do not judge a person for the actions of either their parents or their children. (Deuteronomy 24:16)
  • Do not judge a matter on the testimony of one witness, or on circumstantial evidence. (Deuteronomy 19:15)
  • Do not murder. (Exodus 20:13)
  • The judges must not condemn an innocent or righteous person. (Exodus 23:7)
  • Do not judge a matter until it has been fully investigated. (Deuteronomy 19:18)
  • Do not put a murderer to death before the judges hear his case. (Numbers 35:12)
  • Do not fail to carry out the sentence of judgment. (Deuteronomy 17:11-12)
  • Do not punish the innocent victim of crime. (Deuteronomy 22:26)
  • Do not accept ransom from one who willfully murdered. He must surely be put to death. (Numbers 35:31)
  • Do not accept ransom from one who killed accidentally. He must remain at the city of refuge. (Numbers 35:32)
  • Do not endanger anyone's life. (Leviticus 19:16)
  • Do not neglect to protect against hazards. (Deuteronomy 22:8)
  • Do not mislead another person by giving unlawful advice. (Leviticus 19:14)
  • Do not administer more punishment than the Law allows. (Deuteronomy 25:2-3)
  • Do not go about tale-bearing or slandering about anyone. (Leviticus 19:16)
False "christians" who claim they do not have to obey Yahweh's instructions should not be surprised when He allows the wicked to change the laws from His laws and morality standards to the worldly wicked laws.   Unfortunately, this will lead to the judgment of the nations that reject Yahweh's laws.  Just like secular government laws, not all of Yahweh's instructions are for everyone.  Some laws are for just for men, some are just for women, some just for priests, and some for how the legal system is suppose to be set up.

Here is a list of the 613 laws Yahweh expects His people to obey:  https://www.gospeloutreach.net/613laws.html .  Messiah Yeshua fulfilled the sacrificial laws for sin sacrifice and other offerings cannot be carried out until the temple is rebuilt in the millennial kingdom but this does not negate observing Yahweh's instructions that we CAN observe.  Messiah Yeshua said that we are to love God and the definition of loving God is to OBEY what He says in His Torah.  Those who belong to Messiah Yeshua KNOW His voice and FOLLOW / OBEY Him

Deuteronomy 6:5  And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Deuteronomy  7:9  Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

A thousand generations is over 40,000 years

Deuteronomy 11:1  Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

Mark 12:30  And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

1 John 5:3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

John 10
27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30  I and my Father are one.

Messiah Yeshua said that He will reject "christians" that claim to be following Him and "doing things for Him" if they do not OBEY the Torah.

1 John 3:4  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Matthew 7
21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
G458

Strong's number G458 iniquity (transliterated as anomia)   :
anomia
1) the condition of without law
     a) because ignorant of it
     b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

John 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:23  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

John 15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

1 John 2
3  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Bondage of the law versus Obedience to the law

While it is unfortunate most "christians" do not read the bible for themselves, it is even more unfortunate that most "pastors" do not either and, instead, rely on what they were taught in seminary or by other "pastors" who rely on what others have told them or their seminary background.

One misconception is regarding Yahweh's instructions for His people (AKA "the law").  Many hold to the erroneous belief that "the law is for the Jews" or "Jesus nailed it to the cross" or "we are now under the new covenant not the old so we do not have to obey the law", etc.  Another misconception is that the apostle Paul spoke against the law and that he called the law 'bondage' which is not at all what Paul said.

In previous posts, I showed Yahweh's instructions were given before Abraham, the first Jew, and that Yahweh gave His instructions to Adam and Eve.  I also showed that Noah knew "the law" because he brought clean and unclean animals into the ark and sacrificed some of the clean animals after the flood.  Before the flood, Noah preached Righteousness and the people ignored him.  As a preacher of righteousness, he had to have known Yahweh's instructions and the people had rebelled against them (and so they rebelled against Yahweh) showing "the law" had to be known by Noah and he had to have preached it to the people of the earth.  Without knowing Yahweh's instructions, they could not have been held accountable for violating them.  In a much earlier post, I stated that even satan must have had known Yahweh's instructions or how could iniquity - defined as violation of the law - be found in him?  Since Yahweh is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow His laws must be eternal from eternity past to eternity future.

Most "christians" accept the false teachings that Yahweh's rules ("the law") is evil and Messiah Yeshua did away with them on the cross.  This is not at all true and both Messiah Yeshua and the apostle Paul spoke at great length showing this is not true.

Here are a few of the verses that "christians" like to use to show how "evil the law is" and that "the law is bondage" meaning, of course although in error, Yahweh's instructions.  These people who teach this are ignorant at best, ravenous wolf deceivers at worst.

Galatians 2:4  And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

Galatians 4:9  But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

Galatians 5:1  Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Both Messiah Yeshua and the apostle Paul spoke against the bondage of the law and neither spoke of "the law" being that bondage.  First I will have to explain rabbinic Judaism, how it adds to Yahweh's instructions, and how both Messiah and the apostle Paul spoke against the rabbinic additions but not "the law"  ( I will use Torah for Yahweh's instructions or "the law")

In rabbinic Judaism, the Judaism that does not believe Yeshua as Messiah, there are different "sects" and among  the most strict are the orthodox.  I will use their beliefs and doctrines to explain what the bondage to the law is and how it is ADDITIONS to Torah and not Torah that Messiah and Paul spoke against and then I will give examples in scripture showing this.

Yahweh said to not eat pork, shellfish, and gave instructions which animals were clean to eat and which are not.  There is a verse in the bible that says to not boil a kid in its mothers milk.  This was a fertility ritual of the heathens that Yahweh did not want His people to participate in.  In rabbinic Judaism, they took this instruction and heaped tons of rules and regulations to it.  Even to this day, the added rules  are still observed.

The talmud (the "oral law" that is sacred to rabbinic Judaism) states that "traditions are fences around the law"  Source/Notes:  Mishnah Pirqei Avot 3:14

Orthodox Jews do not eat meat and milk together and in a kosher restaraunt, they do not mix meat and milk and you cannot get a glass of milk in a meat restaraunt and cannot get meat in a milk restaurant.  In an orthodox home, they have two refrigerators: one for meat, one for milk, two sets of dishes: one set for meat, one set for milk (or three including a set for Passover) , they also have two dishwashers: one for meat dishes, one for milk dishes, etc.  Before the Sabbath in an orthodox Jewish home they will set the heat or air conditioner, set the oven (which will not be turned off until after the Sabbath), will take out or turn off the light in the refrigerator, and when using an elevator in an apartment building they will take the Sabbath elevator which stops at every floor so they do not have to push the button- considering all of this to be "work".  THIS is the bondage that Messiah and Paul both spoke against.

Messiah Yeshua spoke plenty about the rabbinic rules added to Torah but never spoke against Torah (or He would have been a sinner and not sin free)

Mark 2
23  And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
24  And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

Messiah Yeshua replied to them that the Sabbath was made for man --- for them to rest and enjoy not for them to observe the rabbinic rules and be servant to the Sabbath.

Mark 2
25  And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
26  How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
27  And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
28  Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

The Pharisees waited to see if Yeshua would heal on the Sabbath so they could accuse Him.  By healing on the Sabbath, Messiah showed that it is acceptable to do good on the Sabbath and to help others - just as the Pharisees would have taken care of their animals on the Sabbath.

Luke 13
10  And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
11  And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
12  And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
13  And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
14  And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
15  The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16  And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
17  And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

Interestingly after Yeshua, in rabbinic Judaism to this day they now allow healing on the Sabbath and it is permissible for doctors and nurses and those giving aid to others to work on the Sabbath under the rabbi's rules.  Yeshua was showing that the extra rules / bondage the rabbis placed on people was the bondage - not the Torah as given to the people since Adam and Eve.
The Jewish faith of the day they observed many traditions added onto them by the rabbis
believing the addition of their rules would make them holier to Yahweh (same thing can be said of the churches today)   Here is another example where Yeshua and His disciples did not follow the rabbi's rules and traditions while still obeying Torah

Mark 7
5  Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
6  He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7  Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8  For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9  And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Notice Yeshua was talking about how they were honoring Yahweh with their lips but their heart was not in it - they were obeying their man-made commandments and not obeying Torah.  Messiah stated they were rejecting Yahweh's commandments so they could keep their own traditions!  (same thing in the church today especially regarding Torah and observing pagan holy days calling them "christian")

Most love to twist what Paul said and claim he taught that Torah was bondage.  We will just examine a few verses and see this is not at all so.

Galatians 1
13  For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
14  And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

Notice Paul called it "the Jew's religion" and never said David's religion, Abraham's religion, or mention Torah.  Paul then went on to state he was exceedingly zealous for the TRADITIONS of his ancestors.  This shows Paul knew the difference between Torah and the man made traditions that were added to it by the rabbis.  I showed in the post right before this one that in Ezekiel's time there was pure paganism that was brought into the temple and that obedience to Yahweh was thoroughly compromised before Paul's time.

Galatians 2:4  And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

Again, this is about the bondage of the rabbis and does not call Torah bondage.  In the previous chapter, Paul had already stated he used to be zealous for the TRADITIONS -- just like "christians" are zealous for the pagan holy days of ishtar (easter) and x-mass today.

Many people are not satisfied with Yahweh's instructions and want the extra bondage / traditions of the rabbis.  I came to knowledge of the truth of following Torah long before the internet and long before I knew ANYONE else was.  For the longest time I thought I was the only one just by reading the bible on my own.  I was not led by anyone besides the Holy Spirit to obey Torah in obedience to Messiah Yeshua's instructions (His sheep know His voice)  Now I'm surprised with how many gentile "christians" are following the rabbinic traditions including wearing the sun "god" kippah, keeping meat and milk separate, and keeping the rabbinic traditions of the Sabbath - they have placed themselves under the rabbinic bondage both Messiah Yeshua and the apostle Paul spoke against.  There are even many so called "christians" that are involved in kabballah which is Jewish mysticism / divination / numerology / etc.  Messiah Yeshua said the road is narrow - and many false paths lead to the broad road that leads to hell.

Messiah Yeshua said if people who claim to be His do not obey the Father's instructions (Torah / AKA "the law") He will reject them even if they are making youtube videos "for Him", making prophecies in His name, casting out demons in His name, etc.  Messiah Yeshua's sheep hear His voice and His voice says to obey God.  To obey is better than sacrificing  or doing things "for Him".

1 Samuel 15
22  And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
23  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

John14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John14:23  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

John15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

1 John 2
3  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 5
2  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Revelation 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Revelation 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

"Did God really say?" . . .hissed the serpent

Note:  all ages and years lived are taken from the book of Genesis unless otherwise noted.

The Garden of Eden was filled with all sorts of trees that were pleasing to the sight and good for food.  Yahweh also placed the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the midst of the garden.

Genesis 2:9  And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

From scripture, before Eve was created, Yahweh gave Adam only one instruction (as far as we know, there were no further instructions given) and that was to not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil while he could freely eat of all the other trees.

Genesis 2
16  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Some time after Eve was created, she was approached by the serpent who asked her about what Yahweh had said about eating from the trees in the garden.  Eve replied that they could eat from any tree but cannot eat or even touch the tree in the middle of the garden.

Genesis 3
1  Now the serpent was more crafty than any wild animal which Adonai, God, had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You are not to eat from any tree in the garden'?"
2  The woman answered the serpent, "We may eat from the fruit of the trees of the garden,
3  but about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden God said, 'You are neither to eat from it nor touch it, or you will die.' "

Did Yahweh give Eve instructions to not touch the tree?  This is not in scripture and most people assume v that Eve added to what Yahweh said when she answered the serpent's question but if that were true, then the first sin would have been Eve lying to the serpent.  Some make up stories about how Adam told Eve Yahweh said to not eat or even touch the tree (placing extra rules on Eve) but if that were true, then Adam lied to Eve.  I do not believe Yahweh told Eve directly otherwise Eve was the one who intentionally sinned and not just deceived into sinning (Adam being the one who was responsible for the fall of man) as scripture states.

1 Timothy 2
13  For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14  And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Were they capable of lying before they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil?  I think it may have been possible because they were not aware of their nakedness and need of clothes until they ate from the tree or maybe she did not realize lying was wrong since she had not eaten of the fruit yet?- but this is not the topic of this post so I'll leave it at that.

The serpent responded to Eve that Yahweh had lied because He did not want their eyes opened making them like God knowing food and evil.  This was a tempation from satan about disobeying Yahweh and eating something He clearly said to not eat.

4  The serpent said to the woman, "It is not true that you will surely die;
5  because God knows that on the day you eat from it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

Some point after the serpent placed the thought about disobeying into Eve, she and Adam were near the tree and she saw the tree was good for food and desirable for making one wise, she ate of the fruit and gave some to her husband who was with her and he ate.  .After Adam and Eve sinned, their eyes were opened and they were ashamed of being naked and made aprons from fig leaves to cover themselves.

Genesis 3
6  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7  And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

The fall of man was in Yahweh's plan for earth.  Why?  We do not know.  We can guess lucifer may have fallen and the earth may be an object lesson on obedience for the angels?  We do not know, we can only speculate the reason.  We do KNOW it was Yahweh's plan otherwise why would He have placed those two trees in the garden and then telling them they could eat of all of the trees EXCEPT that one tree?  He knew they would eat.  If Adam and Eve had known what that little sin would do to the planet and how much death and destruction if would cause they may have had thought seriously about disobeying what Yahweh said.  All it took was a lie from satan stating that Yahweh lied to them and the tree was beneficial to them for food when it was not given to them for food.

When Yahweh found Adam and Eve after they had sinned, He killed animals and made them clothes from their skins - covering their sins with shed blood.

Genesis 3:21  Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Most "christians" believe whatever their "pastors" or gurus tell them and do not read the bible for themselves.  This is unfortunate because most so-called "pastors" are like the serpent that deceived Eve and claim that people no longer have to obey Yahweh's instructions given to Moses because "that is for the Jews" or "that is the old covenant and Jesus died so we do not have to obey the law" , etc..  Most do not realize that Yahweh gave Adam and Eve His instructions likely after they left or right before they were expelled from the garden and He clearly instructs His people to obey Him and Messiah Yeshua stated His followers hear His voice and OBEY Him or they are not His and He will tell them to 'go away I never knew you'.

First we will show the law was known long before Moses and even before Noah's flood which proves that most of the serpent speak from the "pastors" that state "the law is for the Jews" when it was clearly known long before Abraham the first Jew.

I stated that Yahweh killed animal(s) to clothe Adam and Eve after they had sinned and I stated Yahweh gave them His instructions for living (AKA "the law") at some point after they had sinned.  After Cain and Abel were born and were old enough, they offered sacrifices to Yahweh so they knew about sacrificing to Yahweh.

Genesis 4
3  And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4  And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

While we cannot know the exact time Cain and Abel sacrificed to Yahweh, we know it was within 130 years after creation (or possibly 130 years after Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden which may be somewhat longer) because Seth was conceived and born after Cain had killed Abel and Seth was born 130 years after creation (or possibly the time Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden)  So sacrifice was definitely known a short time after Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden.

Noah was born in year 1056 (bible is not clear whether this is date from Creation or date Adam / Eve were expelled from the garden) and Noah knew which animals were clean and unclean - this was BEFORE THE FLOOD which was in year 1656 (from Adam).  Noah's father Lamech was alive when both Adam and Seth were alive and could have learned Yahweh's instructions directly from them (Adam lived 930 years and Lamech was born in year 874)

Genesis 7
1  And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
2  Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

After the flood, Noah sacrificed the clean animals to Yahweh

Genesis 8:20  And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

Noah was still alive when Abraham was born (and Shem outlived Abraham) and Abraham - who became the first Jew - also knew of sacrifice since he was told by Yahweh to sacrifice Isaac and was going to do so when Yahweh provided the Lamb in place of Isaac

from Adam
  • Noah lived from year 1056 - 2006
  • Shem lived 1556 - 2158
  • the flood was in 1656.
  • Abraham lived 1948-2123
  • Isaac 2048 - 2228
Genesis 22
1  And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
2  And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
3  And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
4  Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
5  And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
6  And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
7  And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8  And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
9  And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
10  And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
11  And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
12  And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
13  And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

Most biblical historians believe that Job was a contemporary of Abraham and lived long before Moses (Uz was from the line of Shem)

Job 1
1  There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

--------
5  And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Clearly the law was known long before Moses.  Why was it given to Moses if it was already known?  Because the time Israel spent in Egypt, they forgot all of Yahweh's instructions and incorporated Egyptian paganism into the worship of Yahweh and He wanted them to have His rules written down (codified) so they knew exactly what He expected from them and had no excuse for their disobedience.  How do we know this?  Because their pagan practiced were shown during the exodus.  Cow worship was commonplace in ancient Egypt as seen in the artifacts collected that are now in the museum in Cairo (they even made their favorite cows into mummies when they died)

Exodus 32
1  And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
2  And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
3  And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
4  And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
5  And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD.
6  And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
7  And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:

Mt Sinai where "the law" was given to Moses is in Exodus chapter 19 yet Yahweh gave explicit instructions on the Sabbath in Exodus chapter 16 and  was angry when the people refused to keep His commandments.  Notice that Yahweh says this is a test to see who obeys His instructions and who doesn't

Exodus 16
4  Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
5  And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
6  And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought you out from the land of Egypt:
7  And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us?
8  And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.
9  And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he hath heard your murmurings.
10  And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.
11  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
12  I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.
13  And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.
14  And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.
15  And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
16  This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.
17  And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.
18  And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.
19  And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning.
20  Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.
21  And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
22  And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
23  And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
24  And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.
25  And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field.
26  Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
27  And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.
28  And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
29  See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
30  So the people rested on the seventh day.

Sometimes the serpent speaks saying that "the Sabbath / dietary rules / law is for the Jews but gentiles do not have to obey it" or other such nonsense even though Yahweh clearly stated to Moses to write down that the gentiles that were grafted in and are His children ARE to obey the same rules as the Jewish people.

Exodus 20
8  Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10  But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11  For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Most "pastors" will claim that we are to obey all of Yahweh's instructions that were reiterated in the New Testament but we can ignore those instructions that Messiah Yeshua did not mention as having to obey.  Did Messiah really say this?  or i this more lies from the serpent?

Before we get back to the Old Testament where the prophets show those who follow Yahweh - including gentiles - in the end times are expected to follow His instructions (including His dietary rules and observing the Sabbath) we will examine what Messiah Yeshua said and what the apostles said.  If what Messiah Yeshua said or did contradicted Yahweh's instructions, He would not have been sin free and would have been a blemished lamb unfit for the Passover sacrifice and would never have risen.  If what one of the apostles said contradicts what Messiah Yeshua or Yahweh's instructions in the Old Testament says, either that apostle is false and would have been rejected by the Bereans OR the common serpent interpretation of what the apostle said is a false interpretation.

Messiah Yeshua said the greatest commandment is to love God and if we loved Him, we would OBEY His commandments.

Matthew 22
37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38  This is the first and great commandment.
39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

1 John 5
2  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

One thousand generations would be well over the age of the earth (~20,000 or more years) so obviously this includes all the time after Messiah Yeshua's death and resurrection.  This clearly states Yahweh's commandments are ALL of His instructions in the Old Testament not the ones the serpent "pastors" claim you need to obey.

Deuteronomy 7:9  Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Messiah Yeshua warns those who claim to be His that they are NOT following Him and listening to Him if they do not obey the Father.  He tells those who are disobedient that He will reject them if they do not obey His instructions.

Remember - Yahweh's commandments ARE Yeshua's commandments - He and the Father are ONE meaning they agree completely.

John 10:30  I and my Father are one.

John14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Many "pastors" claim we are not to sin but we do not have to "obey The Law".  How is this possible since sin is defined as violating the law???

1 John 3:4  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Many people love to twist the words of the apostle Paul and use them to justify their rebellion - even if the twisting of those verses completely contradicts the Old Testament AND the Messiah they Claim to follow.  One example is in the letter to the Colossians which if taken in context shows that the apostle Paul is AFFIRMING the Sabbath, the dietary rules, and observing Yahweh's feast days.  Twisting it is used to try and prove that the apostle Paul is telling them that those rules do not matter for Christians.   The apostle Paul was the apostle to the gentiles:

Ephesians 3:1  For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

First the verses then the explanation when taken into context.

Colossians 2
16  Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17  Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Colosse was a gnostic pagan center where most of the population were pagan.  It is obvious by the context of the above verses that Paul was telling the new Christians to not let people judge them because they were now obeying Yahweh's dietary rules, His feast days, the new moon (commanded by Yahweh), and the Sabbath days.  Everything mentioned in the above passage were Yahweh's instructions.  It is very clear when understood from a historical view and in context that Paul was not telling them they could ignore Yahweh's instructions and participate in the pagan practices that were in that city because nobody would have judged them if they were participating in the pagan practices they grew up with and commonly practiced in that city.  Only someone who is rebellious or trying to deceive would use the above passage to justify not obeying Yahweh's instructions.  The Bereans would never have accepted Paul if he had taught Yahweh's instructions could be ignored.

The writer of Hebrews (Many believe to be the apostle Paul) said the Sabbath day is still to be observed:

Hebrews 4
8  For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9  There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10  For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11  Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Another passage the serpent likes to use to convince people they do not have to obey Yahweh is Peter's vision of the unclean animals in Acts.

Acts 10
9  On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
10  And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
11  And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12  Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13  And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14  But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15  And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
16  This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
17  Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,

Obviously from the above passage, Messiah Yeshua never taught His disciples that it was acceptable to eat what Yahweh had called unclean otherwise Peter would never have questioned this vision.  Verse 17 proves that  Peter did not accept that the vision was showing him that it was now acceptable to eat animals Yahweh said to not eat.  Verse 28 shows that Peter came to the understanding that gentiles were now accepted by Yahweh and were no longer to be considered unclean:

Acts 10:28  And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Because of the pagan practices of the gentiles, it was decided which pagan practices that the gentiles had to stop immediately and learn the rest on the Sabbath in the Synagogues.  The serpent says that those were the only things the gentiles have to do and always leaves of verse 21 when quoting Acts 15:20

Acts 13:42  And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

Acts 15
20  But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
21  For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Many "pastors" used Acts 20:7 to try and prove the "christian Sabbath" is sunday.  Most have no understanding of their own and are just parrots of what they heard someone else say.

Acts 20:7  And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

Yahweh said His people are to work the first six days of the week (sunday through friday sundown) and rest on the 7th day (friday sundown to saturday sundown)   This is still the practice of the Jewish people today.  The day starts on sundown and after the Sabbath on saturday, many people meet to break bread (have a meal) or have fun until the next morning when they go to work.  The above verse is showing after the Sabbath on saturday evening, they met together for fellowship before going off to work the next morning.  Paul did not speak sunday morning to midnight - he spoke sometime after the Sabbath (maybe around 6PM) until midnight and then got up sunday morning to leave.

Many do not understand the context of Romans 14:5 where Paul says people esteem one day above another and another every day alike trying to prove it means the Sabbath or Yahweh's feasts do not matter as long as the person is persuaded in his own mind.  This is NOT at all what Paul is saying.  In Paul's time, there were groups of Jewish sects (two well known ones were the Sadducees and the Pharisees) and each had their own day the thought was the "correct" day to fast and pray.  Nowhere does Paul say this is about the Sabbath - those who say he is are hissing 'did God really say' and makes Paul out to be an enemy of Yahweh.  Verse 6 shows the interpretation if this being about the fast and prayer days the correct interpretation.

Romans 14
5  One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6  He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

The final point I will make in this post (I'll write more later) is that Yahweh expects His followers - those who have accepted Yeshua as their Messiah (Lord and Savior) to obey His rules and specifically says the Sabbath and the dietary rules are for today - basically the only two the serpent "pastors" claim are not for today.

Isaiah 56
1  Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
2  Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
3  Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
4  For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
5  Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
6  Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
7  Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Isaiah 65
1  I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
2  I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
3  A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
4  Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
5  Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

Isaiah 66
15  For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16  For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
17  They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

David Nathan - anti gentile anti Torah false teacher

David Nathan is a Jewish "bible teacher" who has once again proven himself to be a false teacher as well as one who is condescending towards those who follow Messiah Yeshua. Mr. Nathan not only criticizes those who obey Messiah, he also calls them "Judaizers" which proves he has absolutely no understanding of what a Judaizer is and is using it to discredit those who are obedient to Yahweh's instructions.  Apparently Mr. Nathan hates gentiles so much he claims they do not have to obey what Yahweh says in His instructions when Messiah Yeshua said He will reject those who do not obey Torah.

For the false accusation by David Nathan that those who obey Yahweh are "Judaizers", please see my previous post: What is a Judaizer?

Here is what Mr. Nathan wrote in a recent facebook post that was shared by one of my facebook friends who apparently does not fully understand what Messiah Yeshua clearly taught.
A typical response I write to modern Judaizers that never gets responded to directly when I am challenged by them for not teaching that gentiles must keep the Sabbath
Dear H.....

In Acts chapter 15 the entire leadership of the early church met to discuss the issue of how gentiles were to serve the Lord. After much debate, the Holy Spirit gave them a very clear answer which they all agreed on. This leading of the Holy Spirit as recorded in this passage of scripture became the doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ and not the opinion and teaching of David Nathan or any other man. In fact the Bible records that every apostle, elder and leader at the Jerusalem council were in 100% agreement with instruction that was given them by the Holy Spirit.

So please read chapter 15 of Acts and if you can find one indication that you as a gentile are instructed to keep the Law and Sabbath or if you can find one teaching from the apostles to this effect then you are at liberty to criticize my doctrine. However, if you are unable to, then please just obey the word and do not let the old enemy of the church deceive you as he did the early church even after they were given clear instruction by the Holy Spirit and many were led astray by the Judaizers who had no authority in the early church but were seen by the apostles as enemies of the cross as outlined in the book of Galatians.

In service of the Lord and His Word,
David Nathan

The verse in Acts 15 that David Nathan as well as other false teachers leave out is that the church was expected to learn the law every Sabbath in the Synagogues:
Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
This verse shows the gentiles were, indeed, observing the Sabbath and were in the Synagogues.
Act s 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

Up until the bar Kokhba revolt of ~135 AD, the early church worshiped in the Synagogues with the Jews that worshiped Yaweh but were not followers of Yeshua as their Messiah. At this time, bar Kokhba was called the messiah and the believers in Yeshua were told they had to accept bar Kokhba as the Messiah and if they refused, they were kicked out of the Synagogues. Of course followers of Yeshua knew bar Kokhba was not the Messiah because they knew Who the Messiah was (Yeshua) so that is when the believers left the Synagogues and when the "church" started becoming paganized.

NOWHERE in scripture does it say that the gentiles were not to keep Yahweh's instructions ("The Law") Many false teachers twist the words of the apostle Paul and use that to justify their rebellion.

First - if the apostle Paul or anyone else taught against "The Law" (Which I will refer to as Torah), they would have been rejected as being false as shown in Acts 17. Remember, the ONLY scripture the Bereans had was the Old Testament because the New Testament had not been written yet.

If the apostle Paul or any of the other apostles had taught against what is in scripture, then they are false teachers and false apostles. The apostle Paul warned if any spirit came and taught against scripte (which was only the Old Testament when he wrote that) then that spirit is a false spirit and accursed by Yahweh.
Galatians 1
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
In Acts if Peter had accepted the spirit that had told them it was okay to eat pork, shellfish, etc. then he was seduced by a false spirit. Because Peter knew it was Yahweh and that Yahweh would not speak against His instructions, Peter knew that the vision was not about the acceptance of meats Yahweh had called an abomination to eat so he pondered the meaning of the vision until the interpretation was made clear what it meant - that gentiles were to be fully accepted as equals to them. I have taught about this in a previous blog post.
Acts 10

The true interpretation of the vision was lgiven a few verses later:
Act 10:28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
Throughout the New Testament, the apostles kept the Sabbath (as did Messiah Yeshua when He was with them) and never ate anything Yahweh said to not eat. If Messiah Yeshua had done so He never would have been accepted as the unblemished (sin free) Lamb of God that took away the sins of this world. Messiah Yeshua's resurrection was proof His death on the cross was accepted as payment for the sins of the world.

While some false teachers claim that Torah is not for today, others (usually Jewish false teachers who observe Torah) claim it is only "for the Jews" but "gentiles do not have to "go under the law" " Let's see what the bible teaches on this.

First, the law was clearly given before it was re-given to Moses on Mt Sinai. I have written about this several times before so I will just briefly mention them and let you look up the scripture references. Cain and Abel both knew about sacrifice and this is show when Abel's sacrifice was accepted by Yahweh but Cain's was not. Noah took two pair of the unclean animals and seven pair of the clean animals so obviously there were instructions before the flood which animals were for food and which were not. Noah sacrificed to Yahweh after the flood. Abraham lived shortly after Noah's death (and was born and died while Shem was still alive) and knew about sacrifcing to Yahweh and offered his son Issac (and Yahweh substituted a lamb for Issac) Job who most believe was a contemporary of Abraham sacrificed for the sins of his sons and daughters. Before the Exodus, Moses told Pharoah that the Jewish People wanted to go out into the wilderness to sacrifce to Yahweh. All of these were before the law was re-given to Moses during the Exodus.

A Chapter before Moses was given the law, the instruction was given about oberving the Sabbath. When Moses was given the ten commandments, the fourth commandment said to remember the Sabbath. While Moses was given the rest of the Torah, the gentiles that were with Israel (IE: grafted in) were told they were to observe the same commandments as Israel was given. This shows the false Jewish teachers that claim the law is okay for the Jews but "not for the gentiles" either do not know scripture or they are intentionally trying to keep the gentiles from following Messiah Yeshua as He instructed us to follow Him.
Exodus 12
48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Deuteronomy 5:14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
The apostle Paul wrote that the gentiles are GRAFTED IN to Israel - not the other way around - and partaking from the same root - Messiah Yeshua - it makes no sense especially in light of the instructions in the old testament that gentile believers do not have to obey Yahweh but the Jewish believers do.
Romans 11
16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Messiah Yeshua is the Living Torah (the Word) who existed before the earth was created and was the one who gave the old testament instructions for us to follow.
John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Yeshua being God means His instructions are what is in the Old Testament. As the unblemished sin free Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world, Messiah Yeshua, like the apostle Paul, NEVER spoke contrary to what scripture taught - and the only scripture He spoke was the old testament. If Messiah Yeshua had changed the law, then He would not be the God who is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow as scripture says He is.

In Peter's second epistle, he clearly warns that people will twist the apostle Paul's words to make it say what they want it say and will fall from their firmly held belief and be led away with the error of the wicked.
2 Peter 3
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
There are many false teachers (and their deceived parrots --- oops followers) when shown the verses that say we are to obey Messiah Yeshua's commandments or He will call those who claim to love Him but do not obey Him 'liars' they claim that we have to obey what He said in the new testament but we do not have to obey Torah (Old Testament) The bible exposes these liars for the false teachers / followers for what they are - liars.

When given the above verses, many of these false teachers / followers claim Messiah Yeshua only gave us two commandments: To love God and to love our neighbors and they reject having to obey any of the old testament instructions Yahweh gave us.

What does it mean to love God?
1 John 5
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
If anyone is still confused about whether we need to obey God or only a few commandments that a concensus of "christians" believe we are suppose to obey while ignoring the ones they disagree with, Messiah Yeshua said He will reject those who "do ministry for Him" if they do not obey GOD's commandments - meaning Torah:

And if that still is not clear:
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Many of these false teachers / followers claim we need to "obey the moral law but not the Levitical law" yet I find no scripture that divides the laws up into categories like this. I find scripture in Isaiah that speaks of the end times and how Yahweh is angry at those who eat swine's flesh (and the mouse, etc) who claim they are holier than others as well as scripture that states the Sabbath is still to be observed today. Some people claim Messiah Yeshua is "our Sabbath rest" as an excuse to not observe what we are told to observe. Yesh, Yeshua will be our rest in the Millenial Kingdom - the seventh day - but we are still told to observe Yahweh's Sabbath today as the disciples / apostles continued to do after Messiah Yeshua's ascension (if they had not, they would have been called false teachers)
Hebrews 4
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
11 Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience.
This is speaking of the time Israel became a nation again in 1948
Isaiah 66
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:
---
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 56
2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
