Are you unforgivable?

Many people do not accept Yeshua as their Messiah due to family - both living and deceased.  Some do not want to be rejected by their family and others do not want to come to the realization their deceased family members are in eternal torment so they reject Yeshua as their Messiah instead of admitting the truth.  This is just where satan wants them - lost and on their way to eternal torment.

Other people do not accept Yeshua as their Messiah because of what they have done.  Some have murdered people, others are involved in sexual sin of all kinds and others are involved in pornography of all kinds including child pornography.  Messiah Yeshua said all of these can be forgiven and there is only one unforgivable sin which is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

Jeffrey Dahmer was a serial murderer who strangled and dismembered 17 men and boys and cannibalized some of them.  Before he was murdered in prison, Jeffrey Dahmer found forgiveness and accepted Yeshua as his Messiah.  By all indications, Jeffrey Dahmer's conversion was real and, if so, he is in heaven with Messiah Yeshua.  http://www.christianchronicle.org/article/did-jailhouse-religion-save-jeffrey-dahmer

Another hardened serial murder that accepted Messiah Yeshua before his execution was Ted Bundy.  Ted Bundy started his killing spree in Seattle Washington when I was a young teenager in Seattle.  Ted Bundy stated that pornography was a major contributor to his behavior and that led to his murdering over 24 women.  Ted Bundy was executed in 1989 the day after giving his final interview to Dr. James Dobson.  In the interview, Ted Bundy stated he grew up in a Christian home with loving and caring parents with no abuse of any kind.  He started his murder spree when he was a law student when his fantasies fed by the pornography broke down the inhibitions (aided by alcohol) which led to assault and murder.  In the interview, he describes being possessed wen he murdered the women.  He took full responsibility for his crimes and had accepted Yeshua as his Messiah before his execution.

But what about the bible?

It is all and good to read that these serial murders accepted Yeshua as their Messiah although that is not comforting to those that believe they are not forgivable unless the bible says they can have forgiveness.  The good news for those seeking forgiveness, there are examples in the bible that show that even murders or those involved in sexual sin can be forgiven by Yahweh if they repent of their sins.

The first example is of King David who Yahweh said was 'a man after God's own heart'.  King David saw a married woman and sent for her to have sex with her.  When the woman became pregnant with his child, he first tried to cover it up and when that didn't work, he had her husband killed.

2 Samuel 11
1  And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.
2  And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.
3  And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?
4  And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.
5  And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.
6  And David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David.
7  And when Uriah was come unto him, David demanded of him how Joab did, and how the people did, and how the war prospered.
8  And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king.
9  But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.
10  And when they had told David, saying, Uriah went not down unto his house, David said unto Uriah, Camest thou not from thy journey? why then didst thou not go down unto thine house?
11  And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.
12  And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to day also, and to morrow I will let thee depart. So Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day, and the morrow.
13  And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.
14  And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.
15  And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.
16  And it came to pass, when Joab observed the city, that he assigned Uriah unto a place where he knew that valiant men were.
17  And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.
18  Then Joab sent and told David all the things concerning the war;
19  And charged the messenger, saying, When thou hast made an end of telling the matters of the war unto the king,
20  And if so be that the king's wrath arise, and he say unto thee, Wherefore approached ye so nigh unto the city when ye did fight? knew ye not that they would shoot from the wall?
21  Who smote Abimelech the son of Jerubbesheth? did not a woman cast a piece of a millstone upon him from the wall, that he died in Thebez? why went ye nigh the wall? then say thou, Thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.
22  So the messenger went, and came and shewed David all that Joab had sent him for.
23  And the messenger said unto David, Surely the men prevailed against us, and came out unto us into the field, and we were upon them even unto the entering of the gate.
24  And the shooters shot from off the wall upon thy servants; and some of the king's servants be dead, and thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.
25  Then David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow it: and encourage thou him.
26  And when the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband.
27  And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.


King David was forgiven after he repented although still faced the consequences for his sin:  the child Bathsheba had conceived died and violence would never depart from his household.

2 Samuel 12
10  Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
11  Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.
12  For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.
13  And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.
14  Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.


Another example in the bible of a mass murder who accepted Yeshua as his Messiah was Saul who became the apostle Paul  Paul was present and encouraged the stoning of Stephen, the first Christian martyr:

Acts 7
55  But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56  And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
57  Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,
58  And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.
59  And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
60  And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
Acts 8
1  And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
2  And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
3  As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
Acts 9
1  And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2  And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
Act 22
3  I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
4  And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
5  As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.


The apostle Paul, after he had accepted Yeshua as Messiah, wrote to the Corinthians that some of them had been involved in sexual sin of all sorts, used to be drunkards, and were involved in all sorts of evil but they were now forgiven because they had accepted Yeshua as their Messiah:

1 Corinthians 6
9  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11  And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.


So no matter what you have done, if you seek forgiveness, repent of your sins,and choose to follow Messiah Yeshua, you can and will be forgiven!  Those who are seeking forgiveness from Yahweh that wonder if they committed the unforgivable sin of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and cannot be forgiven have not.  Those who commit blasphemy of the Holy Spirit are the false prophets who falsely attribute their divination to the Holy Spirit (the exception being new believers who do not know any better - like the young fruit tree, they are pruned and fertilized to see if they will produce good fruit and are given a chance)  Those who commit blasphemy of the Holy Spirit are given over to a reprobate mind after having been given numerous chances to repent and they do not seek Yahweh or His truth.

Romans 1
28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.


If you are sincerely seeking forgiveness, you can be forgiven no matter how horrendous of a sin you believe you have committed.   Seek Yahweh, repent of your sins, and follow Messiah Yeshua today because no man knows how much time they have left and tomorrow may be too late.
