The Great Pumpkin and the rapture

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Pumpkin

The "Great Pumpkin"  was a 1966 animated television special It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown by Charles M Schultz.  The Great Pumpkin is a holiday figure (comparable to Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny) in whom only Linus van Pelt seems to believe. Every year, Linus sits in a pumpkin patch on Halloween night waiting for the Great Pumpkin to appear. Invariably, the Great Pumpkin fails to turn up, and a humiliated but undefeated Linus vows to wait for him again the following Halloween.

Charles Schultz was a Christian who incorporated many Christian themes in his Charlie Brown comic strip and animated specials.  I'm not sure what his eschatology was although I have always wondered if the 'Great Pumpkin' was mocking the pre-tribulation rapture and those who watch for the rapture - especially those who watch during the fall feasts of Yahweh (known by some as the "Jewish feasts")

Television programs, even kids programs, stick with us and influence our ideas and sometimes beliefs even when we are adults.  Even if Charles Schultz was not mocking the rapture, I wonder how much of this is in the subconscious of the Christians who do not believe in the pre-tribulation rapture or once believed in it but no longer do.  This would be especially true of those who have seen false rapture dates predicted and fail throughout the years.

I have been a believer and have followed Messiah Yeshua for about 45 years (since I was about ten) and I have seen numerous "rapture dates" predicted and fail throughout the years.  False prophets write books and people make those books best sellersand when the dates fail, the false prophet writes another book and the same people keep buying their books.  It is not hard to assume some of these people have given up watching because of the numerous failed prophecies.  It is not hard to imagine that  they, like Linus in 'It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown' , have been ridiculed by friend and family - and others who once believed in the pre-tribulation rapture and they have bought into the idea of it being a fairy tale because, in back of their mind, they remember Linus and the Great Pumpkin.
Zephaniah 2
2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you.
3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

Psalms 83
2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

where will these people be hidden??? Why would Yahweh's enemies consult each other about these people who are hidden? Could it be they consult together to come up with an explanation that people are missing?

Isaiah 26
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Yahweh's people will be hidden during the tribulation in chambers.

Isaiah 57:1  The righteous perishethH6, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Micah 7
1  Woe is me! for I am as the last of the summer fruits, as the grape gleanings of the vintage; there is no cluster to eat; nor first-ripe fig which my soul desireth.
The godly man is perishedH6 out of the earth, and the upright among men is no more; they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
3  Their hands are upon that which is evil to do it diligently; the prince asketh, and the judge is ready for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth the evil desire of his soul; thus they weave it together.
4  The best of them is as a brier; the most upright is worse than a thorn hedge; the day of thy watchmen, even thy visitation, is come; now shall be their perplexity.
5  Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a familiar friend; keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
Mic 7:6  For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.
7  'But as for me, I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.
Mic 7:8  Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy; though I am fallen, I shall arise; though I sit in darkness, the LORD is a light unto me.
9  I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against Him; until He plead my cause, and execute judgment for me; He will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold His righteousness.

Matthew 24:44  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Joel 2:16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Who is the Bridegroom? and who is the bride? Where were they hidden?

Genesis 29:27 Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.

How long are is a bride and bridegroom alone after their wedding before she is called his wife? This shows a wedding week - an entire week not half of a week. One had her wedding week before another - the one he loved - was brought in --- this is a very interesting passage that reveals much about the tribulation. The one he loved was brought in after the wedding week of the other.

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Revelation 3
10 Because you did obey my message about persevering, I will keep you from the time of trial coming upon the whole world to put the people living on earth to the test.
11 I am coming soon; hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.

Revelation 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

At the end of the tribulation, Yeshua's bride is called His wife --- who is she and when was her wedding week???
Regardless of what the false prophets tell you using whatever divination method they use, the rapture is throughout the bible and Messiah Yeshua said He will return for us.  Seeing what is going on in the world, the rapture appears to be extremely close at hand.  The question you need to be asking yourself is if you are TRULY ready.  Remember all ten of the virgins in the parable were watching but only five were ready and the others were surprised they were left out.  Those Messiah Yeshua tells 'get away from me you evildoers' also believed they were following Messiah Yeshua because they were "doing things for Him" but they did not obey Yahweh.

1 John 3:4  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Matthew 7
21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

1 John 2

4  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 5
2  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
