God may not have created all of the dinosaurs

Before you stone me for heresy, read the entire post!

Yahweh Created the heavens and earth and all of the birds and animals and called it good:

Genesis 1
20  And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21  And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22  And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23  And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24  And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25  And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

After the fall of many when Adam and Eve at the fruit (likely a pomegranate) and had offspring, people soon became corrupted and full of sin.  Whether you believe mankind became corrupted because of the original sin or because of fallen angels does not matter - they became corrupted and sinful and Yeshua said in the end times people would be the very same:

Genesis 6:5  And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Matthew 24:37  And as were the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of man.

When Noah took animals into the ark, they came based on their kind:

Genesis 6:20  Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.

In the past 50+ years, there has been an increase of genetic manipulation and creation of chimeras

noun, plural chimeras.
1.
(often initial capital letter) a mythological, fire-breathing monster, commonly represented with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail.
2.
any similarly grotesque monster having disparate parts, especially as depicted in decorative art.
3.
a horrible or unreal creature of the imagination; a vain or idle fancy:
He is far different from the chimera your fears have made of him.
4.
Genetics. an organism composed of two or more genetically distinct tissues, as an organism that is partly male and partly female, or an artificially produced individual having tissues of several species.
I believe from my studies that mythology (Greek, Roman, Assyrian, etc.) is based on fact of what happened before the flood.  The "gods" were the fallen angels and the nephillim were the "men of renown"  - half "god" and half human:

Genesis 6:4  There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Noah was pure in his generations.  I believe this verse is stating that Noah did not have nephillim blood (blood of fallen angels) in his genes which gives more credibility to the view that fallen angels and human women created the nephillim (the view I hold)

Genesis 6:9  These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Part of mythology and of numerous religions [false] "gods" has "gods" that are chimeras - parts of different animals.  This is exactly what "scientists" are doing in laboratories all around the world today - creating animals Yahweh said to not create:

Leviticus 19:19  Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

Yahweh would not have given this command if it were impossible to create chimeras of two or more kinds.  He said to not do it yet scientists today are creating all sorts of chimeras including crossing humans with animals.

Since the days before the flood they were doing all sorts of evil  (including crossing animal kinds based on commentaries) because the mythology legends must be based on some truth, and because antediluvian (pre flood) history was highly intelligent and likely had many of the "modern" luxuries of today likely including electricity and computers (sorry - no Windows or Mac!),  it is reasonable to assume that genetic experiments were also going on.

So  while I believe Yahweh created at least some of the dinosaurs, I'm open to the belief that some of the dinosaurs (possibly the vicious meat eaters) were the result of genetic experiments before the flood and, as such, not part of Yahweh's creation so they did not make it onto the ark.  This could explain why most of the dinosaurs were destroyed in the flood - they were not part of Yahweh's creation since they were genetically modified or hybrid creations.

The people had a choice of whether to obey Yahweh and be rescued by the ark although if they were nephillim (part fallen angel part human) they would not choose for Yahweh.

I assume they will find hybrid animals and will claim it is "proof of evolution" which will cause many to doubt the creation account.  Some already doubt the literal six day creation (in part due to teachings of heretics such as Hank Hanegraaff) yet these hybrids are NOT proof of evolution - they are proof of past genetic experiments and the judgment of Yahweh for violating His eternal law.  As I have shown in previous posts, the law was given to Adam and Eve otherwise how would Cain and Abel know to offer sacrifices and how would Noah know which animals were clean and unclean to bring on the ark?

Most people - including "pastors" and those who sell "christian" books are nothing more than parrots of other "pastors" and commentary writers.  Others are using divination to find secret messages of their own interpretation that they claim is hidden in scripture in order to tickle the ears of their deceived followers.  Very few study the bible and find the knowledge that is clear to see by those who study the bible and ask Yahweh to show them what He wants to reveal to them.

Geep are not part of Yahweh's creation and He said to not make them - yet they are being made in labs today:

http://www.vivo.colostate.edu/hbooks/genetics/medgen/chromo/mosaics.html

The chimeric animal shown below is a baby "geep", made by combining a goat and sheep embryo. Notice the chimerism evident in the skin - big patches of skin on front and rear legs are covered with wool, representing the sheep contribution of the animal, while a majority of the remainder of the body is covered with hair, being derived from goat cells.

Blue roses are created by incorporating human liver enzymes into the rose plant:

http://www.cabi.org/agbiotechnet/news/3928

Peter Guengerich and his colleague Elizabeth Gillam made their accidental finding as they were studying how drugs are metabolised in the body. They took a gene from a human liver and placed it into bacteria. "The bacteria turned blue," said Guengerich, professor of biochemistry and director of the Centre in Molecular Toxicology at Vanderbilt. "That was surprising." "We knew people have been interested in making a blue rose for years, so we thought if we could move these human genes into flowers, we might come up with one."

Genetic manipulation, in part, led to judgment in Noah's day and is, in part, is why judgment will come on the world today.  There will be no world wide repentance according to the bible and there will be no national repentance until Israel accepts her Messiah (Yeshua) during the tribulation.  There is a day of personal repentance and that day is today because we are not promised a tomorrow.  Now is the time to turn away from your sins (violation of Yahweh's law, the Torah) and accept Yeshua (Jesus) as your Messiah (Lord and Savior) and OBEY Him (follow Him) before it is too late for you.

Lot's wife and daughters

We can learn something when we examine scripture about Lot's  wife.  In a previous post, I showed Lot was a righteous man and had reasons to do what he did.  Now we will explore a little about Lot's wife and the possible end times ramifications.

Yeshua said the time of the end will be as the time of Noah and the time of Lot.  I showed in a previous post this could also refer to globalism and rebellion against Yahweh although the main sign of those times was the vile wickedness.  With Lot being a righteous man and being vexed with the city he lived in (as so many True Believers are vexed of what is happening today) one reason he may have been in sodom was because of his wife and her love of the city.

Genesis 19
14  And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.
15  And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
16  And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
17  And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
18  And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord: 19  Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:
20  Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
21  And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.
22  Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
23  The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
24  Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
25  And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
26  But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Notice that Lot, his wife, and his daughters all escaped sodom and were safely in Zoar whe Lot's wife looked back. She was saved and then disobeyed and was judged.  Look at the warning Yeshua gives for the end times:

Luke 17
26  And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30  Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31  In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32  Remember Lot's wife.

This passage is why I believe that their will be war and missile strikes immediately after the rapture.  The people are told when it happens to flea and not look back and are given the warning of Lot's wife.  It says that both Noah and Lot left and on the same day destruction happened.

In an earlier post on Righteous Lot, I showed how he was not to blame for his daughters "date raping" him after they believed they may be the only ones left alive.

Genesis 19
30  And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
31  And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:
32  Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
33  And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
34  And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
35  And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
36  Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.
37  And the firstborn bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day.

The firstborn daughter bore a son to Lot and named him Moab who was the father of the Moabites.  What most people do not realize is that Ruth, King David's great grandmother, was from this line - she was a Moabite - and therefore Lot and his daughter are in the line of Messiah Yeshua.

Ruth 1
1  Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.
2  And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.
3  And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.
4  And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.

Ruth 4
13  So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.
14  And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.
15  And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.
16  And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.
17  And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.

So interesting to study scripture and see what happened based on what choices the people of Ancient Israel made.

Days of Noah and Days of Lot - wickedness AND GLOBALISM!

Years From Creation :
(all years / ages from the book of Genesis)
Jared 460-1422
Noah: 1056 - 2006
Shem 1556-2158
FLOOD: 1656
Arpachshad 1658-2096
Shelah 1693-2126
Eber 1723-2187
Peleg 1757-1996
Terah 1878-2083
Abraham:1948-2123

First a little history information.  The tower of babel occurred after the flood and before Abraham's birth.  Some claim it happened in 2,200BC which works out to be 1744 since creation.   I do not see is accurate due to the bible mentioning the time of division of the nations / languages occurred during the time of Peleg who was born in 1757 after creation.  We cannot know for sure the dates BC that many events occurred although we CAN know for sure the year from Creation that many of the same events occurred.

Genesis 10:25  And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

Genesis 11
1  And the whole earth was of one language and of one speech.
2  And it came to pass, as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
3  And they said one to another: 'Come, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly.' And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar.
4  And they said: 'Come, let us build us a city, and a tower, with its top in heaven, and let us make us a name; lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.'
5  And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
6  And the LORD said: 'Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is what they begin to do; and now nothing will be withholden from them, which they purpose to do.
7  Come, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.'
8  So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth; and they left off to build the city.

Peleg and all of his ancestors from Noah to his father Eber were not only alive during the tower of babel, they were all alive when Abraham and Lot were born.  It is interesting that the wickedness that led up to the tower of babel happened 100 - 292 years after the flood.  The tower of babel mirrors the timeline of the wickedness that led up to the flood.  From commentaries, it is said that the angels that fell and took wives (creating the nephillim) happened in the days of Jared and other writings say 200 years before the flood.  The tower of babel pretty much mirrors of what happened before the flood including the same timeline and the cities of sodom and gomorah, about 500 miles away, existed at the same time the tower of babel was built and they were filled with wickedness and homosexuality.

IF the tower of babel happened closer to the time of Abraham and Lot, it would be most interesting in that Yeshua said that the end times would be as in the days of Noah and the Days of Lot.  YES this means wickedness including homosexuality, genetic manipulation and such but it also could mean the globalism nature and people working together for "the greater good" and trying to be like God by transhumanism, cyborgs, and other technologies that is being used to try and gain immortality.

I'm thinking that when Abraham was told to move from Chaldea, it may have been part of the spreading out in the aftermath of babel so that may be one indication the tower of babel may have been closer to Abraham (and Lot's) birth than to the flood.  Also there would have had to have been enough time to build the population up for them to get together to build the tower.  Even though I believe they may have had electricity, automobiles of some sort, and other technology before the flood, they would not have had it after the flood or at least not enough to have rebuilt it by then.  Most who were involved in the globalism / rebellion of the tower were likely still alive in Abraham and Lot's day (as were all their ancestors from Noah on) and they still had the globalist view - they just could not work together because Yahweh gave them different languages.

Genesis 11
28  And Haran died in the presence of his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.
29  And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.
30  And Sarai was barren; she had no child.
31  And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran, his son's son, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.

Today we not only have the wickedness and violence that was prevalent before the flood in the days of Noah and the days of Lot, we also have the globalism and science (including the space programs, cloning, genetic manipulation) that are working together to "be like god" just like in the days of Noah - remember he was still alive when the tower of babel was built - and right before Lot was born - and they didn't stop their rebellion and trying to be like Yahweh, they were just slowed down when the languages were changed and they were spread throughout the world.  Part of the wickedness then was definitely the working together against Yahweh and in the future will culminate in their turning their weapons against Yahweh when Yeshua returns.

Revelation 19:19  And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

The days of Noah and days of Lot Yeshua says will be right before His return DEFINITELY includes violence, homosexuality, calling evil good and good evil.  It also includes globalism and the working together doing things Yahweh said to not do as part of the rebellion against Him.  Just an interesting study.

The Torah : from eternity past to eternity future

Most rebellious "christians" claim the "Law is for the Jews" and "Jesus nailed it to the cross" and "Jesus cleansed all animals for food" and other such nonsense to justify their rebellion against Yahweh and His instructions contained in the Old Testament - specifically the Torah which is the first five books of the bible:  Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.

Yeshua is the 'Living Torah' and He as well as Torah existed before time began.

John 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

How could anyone be held accountable for sin / disobedience if they did not know what Yahweh expected of them?  You cannot be held accountable for violating laws / rules that do not exist!  How could iniquity / sin be found in satan if the law had not existed since sin (iniquity) is defined as violation of the law?

1 John 3:4  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Matthew 7
21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
G458

Strong's number G458 is iniquity (transliterated as anomia) :
1) the condition of without law
     a) because ignorant of it
     b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness
Iniquity (sin) was found in satan - how could that be unless the law was already established?

Ezekiel 28:
12  Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14  Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity H5766 was found in thee.

Strongs H5766 translated as `evel meaning:

injustice, unrighteousness, wrong
        violent deeds of injustice
        injustice (of speech)
        injustice (generally)
So the definition of sin is evil / violation of the law.  The law had to have been established before satan fell otherwise how could he have been held accountable for iniquity if it was not yet defined ?

It appears satan was in the Garden of Eden BEFORE he fell.  Could it be that after his rebellion, he immediately tempted Eve thinking if he were able to get the humans to rebel he would be let off the hook?  Something we likely will not find out this side of eternity.

There are verses showing the Torah / law was given to people to follow before it was re-given to Moses to write down on Mt Sinai:

Yahweh killed an animal to cover Adam and Eve after they sinned

Genesis 3
20  And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
21  Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

He could have clothed them with cloth instead of killing an animal.  This shows blood must be shed for the remission of sin and is a prophecy of the Messiah.

Cain and Abel knew to offer sacrifices and what to offer:

Genesis 4
2  And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
3  And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4  And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5  But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6  And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7  If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

The people knew what Yahweh's commands were otherwise how could they be held accountable for violation of the law (most "Christians" claim did not exist until Moses)  /  living wickedly and doing evil that brought about the flood of Noah?

Genesis 6:5  And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

How could Noah tell them to repent if they did not have any idea of Yahweh's instructions?  You cannot obey or be held accountable for laws that do not exist!

Noah knew which animals were clean and unclean to bring on the ark

Genesis 7:2  Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

Interesting to note:  The dietary laws of the muslims are mostly the same as was given to Moses ( a few differences between shiitie and suunis) yet the arab people separated from the Jewish people (Ishmael / Isaac) long before Moses.  This strongly indicates that the dietary laws were known by Abraham and he (or Shem) taught them to both Ishmael and Isaac long before the exile in Egypt (IE: before Moses).  Noah was still alive at the tie of Abraham and Shem, Noah's son, was alive at the same time as Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac (in fact, Shem outlived Abraham) and they could have taught the Torah, including the dietary laws, - and which animals were unclean and clean they took onto the ark - to Abraham, Ishmael and Isaac.
Sodom and Gomorah were in iniquity - how were they held accountable for their sin if Yahweh's instructions for living were not known?

Genesis 19:15  And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

You cannot be held accountable for violating rules that do not exist!

Job offered sacrifices for his sons and daughters.  It is widely believed Job lived after the flood around the time of Abraham.  He certainly lived before Moses.  From a previous post, he appears to be from the line of Shem through Uz.

Genesis 10
22  The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23  And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

Job 1:1  There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Job 1:5  And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Jacob offered sacrifice to Yahweh:

Genesis 31:54  Then Jacob offered sacrifice upon the mount, and called his brethren to eat bread: and they did eat bread, and tarried all night in the mount.

The Sabbath was re-given to Ancient Israel before Moses was given the law on Mt. Sinai.  Before Ancient Israel left Egypt, they had asked pharoah for permission to go out into the desert to pray and sacrifice to Yahweh

Exodus 5
2  And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.
3  And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.

Sabbath re-given Exodus 16:22-30 ---  BEFORE Moses was told to write it down in Exodus 19-20.

Exodus 16
22  And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
23  And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD
: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
24  And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.
25  And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field.
26  Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
27  And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.
28  And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
29  See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
30  So the people rested on the seventh day.

The Ten Commandments says to REMEMBER so obviously the commandment was given to them before Sinai.

Exodus 20:8  Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Yeshua (Jesus) obeyed and taught Torah:

Yeshua said He will reject Christians that "do things for Him" if they do not obey Yahweh IE: are lawless / Torahless.  (Matthew 7:21-23)

Yeshua only spoke what the Father had taught and did not teach against ANYTHING in Torah:

John 8:28  Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

John15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

To follow Yeshua is to obey what He says IE:  follow Torah

Exodus 12:49  One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
Native olive branches and grafted in branches  (Romans  11:13-29)

Acts 5:29  Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
The apostles taught obedience to Yahweh

Act 5:32  And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

1 Peter 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Obedience is NOT optional!

(Torah "law") Deuteronomy 13:4  Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

Matthew 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

1 John 5:3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

John14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Torah after Yeshua's resurrection

If Paul would have been teaching against Torah (including the Sabbath and the dietary laws), the Bereans, as well as all the other Jews in the Synagogues he visited, would have rejected him as being a false teacher.  It is very clear that he used scripture - the OLD TESTAMENT - to teach from since the new testament (which he wrote most of) had not been written yet.  These verses show Paul NEVER spoke against ANY of Yahweh's laws and if his writings contradicted what he taught them, he is a false teacher.

Acts 17:2  And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

Acts 17
11  These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
12  Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

Act 18:4  And he (Paul) reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

I do not believe Paul was a false apostle as do so many who do not understand what he taught.  They choose to believe Yahweh and throw out anything Paul said  because they misunderstand what Paul said consequently they throw out most of the New Testament out of ignorance.

Other people like to twist Paul to say things he NEVER said in order to justify their rebellion.  Peter even said as much.  Peter also said they fall from their stedfastedness if they twist what Paul said to suit their rebellious ways:

2 Peter 3
15  And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16  As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17  Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

The rebellious love to use Peter's vision in Acts 10 to justify their wickedness claiming that the dietary laws are now void:

Acts 10
11  And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12  Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13  And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14  But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15  And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
16  This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
17  Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,

Peter stated in response to the vision in Acts 10 that he had NEVER eaten ANYTHING unclean - and this vision was some years after Yeshua's death and resurrection.  Even during the vision, Peter did not accept it as meaning he could now eat swine's flesh and other unclean things.

Peter KNEW the vision was from Yahweh and he KNEW it would NEVER contradict scripture so he did not accept it at face value.  Instead, Peter pondered what the vision meant and it was not until verse 28 he realized it was about the gentiles:

Acts 10:28  And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Compare with what Yahweh said in verse 15 (Acts 10):   And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

The vision was clearly about the gentiles and not about eating swine's flesh!

While claiming Jesus changed the dietary law in Mark 7:19, the rebellious are blinded to the fact that Peter obviously was never taught by Yeshua that it was now okay to eat what Yahweh said to not eat.   otherwise he, Peter, would have not questioned the vision in Acts 10  that he was given years later.

Mark 7:19  It doesn't go into your heart, but into your stomach, and then out of your body." By saying this, Jesus meant that all foods were fit to eat.

If Yeshua had changed the law and cleansed what Yahweh calls an abomination, He would not have been the sin free Lamb of God.  When He 'Made all foods clean' it meant food as defined by Yahweh in the Old Testament - which did NOT include pig, shellfish, etc.  It was a statement that all meat (given by Yahweh as food) were ritually clean.

Yeshua could not have changed any law and remain sin free - you cannot change the rules and then claim you are following those rules.  If Yeshua had taught against the Torah, the Pharisees would have held that against Him after He was betrayed by judas.   If Yeshua had taught against the dietary laws He never would have been accepted as Messiah by those who followed Him and His followers would have NEVER been allowed in the synagogues.  If Yeshua had taught against Torah, He would have transgressed the law and would not have resurrected.  It would have disqualified Him as being Messiah.

This prophecy in Isaiah is about the end of days (long after Yeshua's resurrection)   Many apostates think they are holier than those who obey God because of their "freedom from the law" yet Yahweh says they are rebellious and walk after their own thoughts angering Him continually. Verse 4 is specifically about Bethel-redding and their "gravesucking" in order to become demon possessed as well as about those who eat what Yahweh specifically stated to not eat :

Isaiah 65
1  "I made myself accessible to those who didn't ask for me, I let myself be found by those who didn't seek me. I said, 'Here I am! Here I am!' to a nation not called by my name.
2  I spread out my hands all day long to a rebellious people who live in a way that is not good, who follow their own inclinations;
3  a people who provoke me to my face all the time, sacrificing in gardens and burning incense on bricks.
4  They sit among the graves and spend the night in caverns; they eat pig meat and their pots hold soup made from disgusting things.
5  They say, 'Keep your distance, don't come near me, because I am holier than you.' These are smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all day!

During the tribulation, the saints are the ones who have faith in Yeshua AND obey the commandments of Yahweh:

Revelation 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Why would it be any different now?  We are obviously expected to obey Yahweh AND have faith in Yeshua as our Messiah, our Lord and Savior.  (Lord means obeying and living in obedience)  How do you FOLLOW Yeshua if you are being disobedient to what Yahweh says?  Some claim that "the law is for the Jews" and gentiles do not have to obey,  Yahweh says otherwise:

Exodus 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

It is clear from scripture that Yahweh's Torah / law (Yeshua is the Living Torah), existed since before time and will exist for eternity and that we are to obey His instructions.

John14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John14:23  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

John15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

1 John 5
2  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

You must choose this day who you will serve:  Yahweh (the one True God as revealed in the bible) by following Yeshua (Jesus) on the narrow path as your Messiah (Lord* and Savior)  or, by default, you choose to follow satan slong the broad road to hell.  Many choose the broad road because that is where their "friends" and family are.  You must be wiling to give up everyone and everything to follow Messiah Yeshua or you are not worthy to be His.

* Lord means you are obedient and do what He says

Matthew 10
37  He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38  And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Japeth, Noah, and the Table Of Nations

In previous posts, I showed how Canaan was cursed because of what his father Ham had done to Noah ( Ham, Noah, and the Canaanites ) .  In another post I showed the line of Shem through Abraham and how Noah and Shem were both alive when Abraham was an adult and how Abraham could have studied with both Noah and Shem and Isaac could have studied with Shem ( Shem, Noah, Abraham, and Job ).  Commentaries state this happened (IE: book of Jasher)

Noah's son Japeth was older than Shem and Ham was the youngest:

Genesis 9:24  And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his youngest son had done unto him.
Genesis 10:21  Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

In middle eastern custom, those who are guests in the tent or home of someone is under their protection and the guests will be protected even at the cost of the lives of the household members.  This is shown by when Lot offered his daughters to the sodomites when the angels were in his home and under his protection

Genesis 19
5  And they called unto Lot, and said unto him: 'Where are the men that came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.'
6  And Lot went out unto them to the door, and shut the door after him.
7  And he said: 'I pray you, my brethren, do not so wickedly.
8  Behold now, I have two daughters that have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes; only unto these men do nothing; forasmuch as they are come under the shadow of my roof.'

This protecting a guest is also shown when the daughter (and the guest's concubine) was offered to the men in Gibeah who wanted to rape the Levite guest (which nearly led to the extermination of the tribe of Benjamin) I posted about in an earlier post ( Benjamites of Gibeah, King Saul, and Judah )  which is found in Judges 19-21 .

After the incident with Ham, Noah cursed Canaan (Ham's son) and blessed Japeth and Shem:

Genesis 9
24  And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his youngest son had done unto him.
25  And he said: Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
26  And he said: Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem; and let Canaan be their servant.
27  God enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and let Canaan be their servant

This is VERY interesting. The oldest son was the one who inherits the blessing   ------  The older serving the younger and a younger son being the one chosen over the eldest by Yahweh is throughout the Old Testament:

  • Jacob inherits the blessing instead Esau.
  • Judah is the ruling line and not Reuben (who sinned against Jacob) or Simeon
  • Joseph gave the blessing to his youngest grandson
  • Gideon was the youngest.
  • King David was the youngest son.
  • etc.
This is important that Messiah Yeshua was the first born Son - the first born being the rightful heir who also received the blessing of Yahweh.  I'm sure there is more here although have not discovered it yet.  Good topic for discussion.

As shown in the table of nations, Genesis 10, Japeth's descendants were the gentile nations:

Genesis 10
2  The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3  And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4  And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5  By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

As shown in the post about Shem, Shem is the line of Abraham, David, and Messiah.  It is interesting that the elder Japeth's ancestors, the gentile nations which Noah said would be greatly enlarged,  will dwell under the protection of - in the tents of -   a younger son which is the line of Messiah!  I find that the blessing of Japeth and Shem to be highly prophetic regarding the Messiah and how the gentiles will be saved through the Jewish Messiah.  It also speaks against British Israelism and other forms of the demonic replacement theology that has become widely accepted.

Shem, Noah, Abraham, and Job

In yesterday's post, I showed how Canaan (Ham's son) was cursed because of what Ham (and Canaan?) had done to Noah and how Ham's descendants included sodom and gomorah.  Today's topic will be Shem and how he is related to both Abraham and likely to Job.

Genesis 9
20  And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
21  And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
22  And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
23  And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
24  And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
25  And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
26  And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

After the above incident, Ham's son Canaan (why not Ham and why not his other sons?) was cursed and Shem was blessed.

Shem's line:

Genesis 10
21  Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.
22  The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23  And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24  And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.
25  And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
26  And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
27  And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
28  And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29  And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.
30  And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.
31  These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.

Condensed, here is the line from Shem to Abraham (see Genesis 11 as well) :

Shem-> Arpachshad ->  Shelah ->    Eber  ->  Peleg ->   Reu ->  Serug ->   Nahor ->  Terah ->  Abram

More on the ages and ancestry is in Genesis 11

Genesis 11
10  These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:
11  And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
12  And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:
13  And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
14  And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber:
15  And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
16  And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg:
17  And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.
18  And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu:
19  And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.
20  And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug:
21  And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.
22  And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor:
23  And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
24  And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah:
25  And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.
26  And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

Abraham (and therefore King David and Messiah Yeshua) were descended through Shem's son Arphaxad.  Noah lived for 58 years after Abraham was born and Shem outlived Abraham by 35 years and was alive for the first 110 years of Isaac's life.  If you read commentaries such as the book of Jasher, Abraham studied with Noah and both Abraham and Isaac studied with Shem.  Since Noah and Shem were direct ancestors of Shem (and therefor Noah), this could likely be assumed even without the commentaries.  Someone had to teach Job and Abraham about Yahweh and how and what to sacrifice (read further)

Adam was the first man, then his son Seth, and then Enosh.  Enosh lived for 84 years after Noah was born and was alive for 695 years of Adam's life.  So one can see that information about the Garden of Eden could have been given from Adam to Enosh, to Noah, and to Abraham and what it was like before the flood could have been given directly from Noah and Shem to Abraham.

The stories from mythology likely originated from what was taught by Noah and his sons - and, if you believe the nephilim were the offspring of fallen angels and women and that genetic manipulation was going on before the flood, likely the stories were true - the fallen angels and hybrids were worshiped as "gods" and is what brought the judgment of the flood.  Many who rebelled against Yahweh after the flood turned to idol worship due to what they learned about the false "gods" that existed before the flood and is why there was idol worship after the flood Even Abraham's family had idols:

Joshua 24:2  And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.

Now as for Job who most commentaries believe lived at the time after the flood and before Ancient Israel was in Egypt:

Shem's son Aram had a son named Uz.  Job lived in Uz so very likely Job was a descendant of Shem through  Job may have very well been alive at the time of Abraham.

What is most interesting is that Noah knew what animals were clean and unclean to bring on the ark and offered sacrifices of the clean animals to Yahweh after the flood:

Genesis 8:20  And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

Job also offered sacrifices :

Job 1:5  And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

So obviously clean and unclean was before the law was given to Moses centuries later.  The need to sacrifice was also known before the Exodus.   Moses also told pharaoh Ancient Israel wanted to go to the wilderness to sacrifice to Yahweh BEFORE he was given the law on Mt. Sinai. So what is with "the law is for the Jews" when Noah and Job were not Jews? (they were pre-Jews) --- the law was given before the flood and known after the flood.

Ham, Noah, and The Canaanites,

Very interesting making connections in the Old Testament that you don't see others mention - probably because they are too busy looking for hidden messages and getting their ears tickled by false prophets they have no time to actually read let alone study the bible for their selves.

Reading the generations after the flood, you can see some very strong connections with what happened and how it seems their are blood lines that are predisposed to certain characteristics (I am NOT speaking of serpent seed or anything heretical like that) due to prophecies spoken against individuals and their offspring.

After the flood, there was an incident that many theologians have debated the exact meaning of:

The 1899   Douay-Rheims bible gives an indication what the correct meaning, which is widely debated and commented on, may be:

Genesis 9
20  And Noe a husbandman began to till the ground, and planted a vineyard.
21  And drinking of the wine was made drunk, and was uncovered in his tent.
22  Which when Cham the father of Chanaan had seen, to wit, that his father's nakedness was uncovered, he told it to his two brethren without.
23  But Sem and Japheth put a cloak upon their shoulders, and going backward, covered the nakedness of their father: and their faces were turned away, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
24  And Noe awaking from the wine, when he had learned what his younger son had done to him

Clearly Noah knew what Ham HAD DONE to him - something happened - what it exactly was is debated.   Some commentaries say that Ham sodomized Noah, Leviticus 20:11 seems to indicate it could have been Ham had sexual relations with his mother although that is not stated and his mother was not mentioned.  It is reasonable to believe that Ham sodomized Noah although the debate on that is not (directly) what this post is about.

Leviticus 20:11  And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Why did Noah curse Canaan, Ham's son, for what Ham had did to him?

Genesis 9:25  And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

Would a curse of Ham's SON be given if the sin of Ham had just been to see his father naked?  Why curse Canaan -ONE of Ham's sons- (he had several sons mentioned in scripture) and not Ham or ALL of his sons?

Genesis 10:6  And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

It is very interesting that Ham's son Canaan was the line of sodom and gomorah which were wiped out by Yahweh for their wickedness - which included homosexuality.  Exactly what part, if any, did Canaan have to do with what Ham had done to Noah?

Genesis 10
15  And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
16  And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,
17  And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
18  And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.
19  And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

Throughout the Old Testament, the Canaanites were enemies of Israel and Yahweh had commanded Israel to destroy them.  While not implicit, one can deduce that the Amalekites were of the line of Caanan and led to Haman trying to destroy the Jews (book of Esther) because King Saul allowed Agag to survive.

Deuteronomy 20
16  But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
17  But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:

Just some interesting observations.  Worthy of a deeper bible study if I can find anyone who is interested in studying the bible.
